Is a 2 hour drive too far a week from due date?

Wanted to see what people thought... How far of a drive is too far the third trimester? My cousin is graduating a week before my due date, but it's a good 2 hour drive from our hospital. I really want to go but not sure if it's the  best idea. What do you think?

Check your insurance. Some don't allow you to travel a certain distance from your hospital to close to your due date and won't cover for an emergency if you do go into labor. Also think about being in a car that long and if you'll be comfortable. Labor could start at any time then and it really depends on what you're comfortable with. My brother is graduating 3 hours away a month before my due date and I won't go because my ass ain't sitting in a car that long lol

I traveled to myrtle beach which is 16 hrs from my house at 37 weeks.  If it your first you will know when you are starting contractions and you would have plenty of time to get to the hospital.  Just have everything ready in your car just in case!
