Nightmares?

I'm 4 weeks 2 days tomorrow and I keep having terrifying nightmares. I never have them during the day while napping, only at night. Anyone else experiencing this?

I usually have really bad vivid nightmares if I'm eating kind of junky food close to bedtime. (I had a horrible night terror once after eating chocolate cake at a late night birthday party haha.) your body processes toxins out of your system at night and I read somewhere that nightmares sometimes are the result of what we've eaten in the last few hours before bed because your body is working harder to process the food when it should be resting.

That being said, it's most definitely being exacerbated by hormones; I wonder if your body is not liking something you're eating and the hormones are just making it more pronounced? If you're eating pretty healthy then that's probably not it, but keeping track of what you eat and not eating past 6pm may help the bad dreams.

I've definitely had WEIRD dreams but nothing scary yet. Good luck! (And good sleep!)
