Help me clear up an argument with my bf

I believe that women get as much crap for the appearance and hairiness of their vagina, including extra labia skin, as men get for the size of their penis. Or maybe it's just that women worry about how their vagina looks in a similar manner to how men worry their penis isn't a good size. I blame porn. My bf thinks women don't get as much crap about this as men. Help, what are your views?
