Is there any cold sandwiches pregnant women can eat?

I've been told I cant have any cold lunch meats unless steamed in a microwave.  So my question is, is there any sandwiches I can eat like the ones already made like at Walmart in the deli section.  Or has anyone been told this? What are your substitutes?

All in all ladies-- your chances of listeria are so flipping rare. Everything you do day to day has a higher chance of killing you than you getting listeria from deli meat. Heat up the meat if you are concerned still.  Take everything with a grain of salt.  Stressing over what you can't do is going to do more harm than anything!

The risk if for listeria which is found in pre sliced deli meats and sandwiches kept at a room temperature for a longer period of time. If you get fresh sliced meat from the grocery deli, it is better than going to subway.

My doctor told me literally the only two things you can't have while pregnant is alcohol and raw fish! He said all that stuff you hear about no caffeine no lunch meat no this no that is a bunch of bs! Of course he said eat and drink in moderation, don't drink a whole pot of coffee or a two liter bottle of coke but it's okay to have anything really! 9/10 things you hear about pregnancy are myths or just someone's opinion

That's not tru I eat cold sandwiches all the time and I be fine.. I am 11 weeks.. I eat ham salami as long as its cut thin I can eat it..

I've just been heating mine up.  Better to be safe than sorry!  Too many articles to ignore the risks for something like a sandwich! Good luck!! ☺️
