Did you take a babymoon?

We're trying to decide if we want to take a trip this summer before our baby is born. I'm concerned that it might be a waste of money considering I'm pregnant and can't really do the fun things we would normally do on vacation (not just drinking but staying out late, doing physical things like surfing or hiking, etc). What's everyone's thoughts?

I live in Texas and we are going to a resort in the hill country in 2 weeks (I'll be 26weeks). I've been on 3 vacations so far and have been fine! I just try to find different things to eat using yelp and that makes it fun. Go relax and have fun! ❤️👶

Totally take a babymoon if you can!  We've taken advantage of our last time as a three person family!  We went to HI and surfed at 24 weeks, to San Fran and enjoyed urban hiking and delicious food at 30 weeks, went to Yosemite and hiked all over at 32 weeks, and are heading to Santa Barbara at 36 weeks, though I don't think I'll surf this time because it would be tough to find a wet suit!

We are taking a trip to Cali when I will be 20 weeks. I am looking forward to just relaxing and soaking up the sun!! I think even though you can't drink or go out partying the night away it is a good chance for you and your husband to connect and spend time together before you don't have any!!

We just went and got a hotel in a big downtown city for a few nights and went to some really nice restaurants. It doesn't have to be fancy or expensive just a time with you can spend quality time together doing something you normally don't.

We booked ours yesterday! 10 days in the Dominican Republic at the end of April, I'll be 24 weeks. May not be able to drink or anything, but can't wait to relax and do nothing, probably for the last time in 18 years!

We booked a flight for a long weekend in Florida before I got my BFP. I was about 18 weeks along on the trip. That was a great time to go and it worked out perfectly.  I had luckily just gotten my appetite back so I enjoyed the food and our friends were happy to have a DD that weekend! The middle of my pregnancy before I got very big was the ideal time to go and we were really glad we went!

Just be aware that if it is a cruise no one will let you go if you turn 24 weeks while on the cruise. We had one planned since November and had to reschedule from July to June since I am 8 weeks now but I'm super excited except for the fact no scuba diving but at least I will be able to snorkel.
