Low placenta?

Question

My dr. Told me that at my 19 week ultra sound that my placenta was super low close to my cervix.
I have to have. Another ultra sound around 30 weeks to see if it's shifted up. 
I really really don't want to have a c-section. 
Anyone else had this and still delivered vaginally??

It's very common to have low placenta at your stage. 90% chance it will move by your next scan. Your uterus will just form a lower segment, your midwife or doctor can explain it it you. 
I was the same, my placenta was encroaching on my cervix at 19 weeks. By week 28 cervix was completely clear. It was also the same with 2 of my other girlfriends.

I was also told the same thing yesterday at my 20 week scan. The midwife and doctors both seem fairly certain it will move away as the baby and uterus get bigger but as a precaution I'm also being scanned at 32 weeks and have to watch for bleeding just in case. X
