Could I be pregnant?

I've had a few small cramps and today I woke up with spotting. I normally don't bleed When I'm not on my period. I have one son and he was a surprise so I am trying to be more on top of things for this rodeo. I don't know if I should take a prego test and I don't want to waste my money if it's to soon. Small headache no body or boob pain.
