They did it to me while I was in the hospital being induced.

Yes it's called group b strep test (samples taken vaginally and rectally) and if you have it you have to get antibiotics in your IV fluids during labor. I had it with my first and they said I will need to be tested again because you can have it once and then be fine the second time.

I did it myself. The Dr didn't do it for me. And they do your butt and vagina because your baby isn't born through your mouth so no need to test for whatever when they do test you.

Took less than a second
