How many IUI's did you do?

IUI #2 just failed. AF showed today. 😔
My dr wants me to try 3 IUI's and if we are 0/3 he wants to move on to IVF.

How many IUI's have you tried? Any Success? Is there a step I can take between IUI and IVF?

I wish I knew why this wasn't working. 😔

3 IUIs, 1 ICSI (3 fresh 8-cells embryos), then 1 frozen embryo transfer ( a-class blastocysts, ended in biochemical at 5 weeks), 1 more ICSI (again, 3 fresh embryos) and finally 1 frozen blastocyst transfer (just 1) and with the last... BFP :)

We did a total of 4. Our dr recommended we quit after 3 but I didn't want to give up. They told me they wouldn't try injectables with me since I was responding just fine on cheapy clomid. They'll do however many IUI's you're willing to pay for but my dr told me that our chance for success with IUI was 5%. So sorry to hear. I'm on #3 with letrozole right now. I feel like a step in between could be using injectables because the do a lot more monitoring with those. Unless that is what you already use?

We did 4 IUIs with no success.  First was Clomid only w/my OBGYN's office.  IUI #2-4 we with my RE...Menupur & Clomid on #2-3.  Menopur only on #4.  We have now moved on to IVF.  No diagnosis as to why I can't get pregnant (tubes aren't blocked, ovarian reserve is fine, husband's sperm is fine, etc).  Since we are unexplained, my RE said he would have done a 5th IUI, but encouraged us to move on to IVF.

Officially 0/3 -- we are in London now but once we are back state side I am meeting with my dr to discuss and begin the IVF process. Very nervous. My dr will only do frozen cycles after doing genetic testing. It's going to be a very long process. (Start BC pills in May-- find out if we are preg in August)

We got our BFP on our 2nd IUI with Clomid. The doctor also wanted to move on to IVF after 3 tries. I know of other couples who conceived on the 4th and 6th IUI attempt so it's hard to say what's right! I hope you get your BFP this cycle!

50 mgs of chlomid-- just took my first pill tonight for IUI round #3.

DH doesn't want to do IVF for a while. We are on month 16 ttc and he wants to give us more time to just try. He thinks IVF is too intense for now. (If I want to he has told me he will)

I'll ask my dr about injectables.

I'm up in the air. I have endo and I don't want to have to have another surgery to remove it.

Maybe this will be the lucky one and I won't have to worry about what to do next.

We did 3. I think 3 is the "gold standard" but I hear some docs recommend 4-6. Usually I think after 3 on chlomid they switch to injectibles but I understand injectibles have a much higher rate of multiples.
