Any pregnant ladies taking psych meds during pregnancy?

I'm trying to do it without until I absolutely have to be on them and my drs said hormones can be wonderful things and completly change how your brain works. For me I don't produce enough serotonin and my brain never shuts down and I feel like people are following me, except this time I don't feel like that. I also don't have any morning sickness this time around so every single pregnancy is different.

I was on Wellbutrin but when I found out I was pregnant, my doctor switched me to Prozac. I'm 21 weeks & doing fine but definitely feel the difference. I plan to go back on Wellbutrin & my anxiety meds after I deliver.

I'm on prozac and seroquel! I can't go without my meds😝 my psychiatrist said to stop them immediately but my OB said that they were fine. Prozac is approved for pregnant women but there's nothing proven on seroquel. You just have to be cautious when taking any meds during a pregnancy

I was on a low dose prozac, but weened off of it by 6.5weeks. Doctor said she doesnt want to risk it, especially since i was just on a low dose for depression and anxiety. For two weeks i was an emotional wreck and had constant headaches and mood swings, but im fine now at 8w2d. I will be getting back on it after delivery though!

I take sertraline for depression. I'll try and half my dose in the last trimester, but we'll see how it goes as I dont want to increase my chances of postnatal depression

My wife wanted to come off her meds and started using essential oils. She has been off for almost a year. She could definitely talk to anyone interested in a natural approach.

I tried to get off everything and I did first trimester. It was hell, slowly I am getting back on the ones I can. I'm not super happy about meds during preg but it's super necessary sometimes. I take Zoloft and clonapzapam. I will wean off the clonapzapam so baby doesn't have to. My doc said Zoloft is safe to stay on.
