With my dd, I lost my plug then my water broke hours later. This time I'm 40 + 3 days 3cm and 80% effaced. I lost a huge plug 2 days ago and then more pieces since. Mainly, I've been having lots of bloody show or mucus. I've been having inconsistent contractions 3-4 mins apart for days. I'm just stuck in early labor. I know women can lose plug for weeks etc, but what about those over 40 weeks? If you were past your due date and having bloody show, when did you go into labor or water break?
