Mild isolated ventriculomegaly

Laura
Hi ladies,
I went for my 20 week scan on Tuesday and was told that my baby's ventricles in the brain were measuring 11mm which was higher than the average measurement of 10mm. We have had another more detailed 4d scan today and were told that everything else seems perfectly normal and that if baby's ventricles stay the same size or get smaller between now and birth everything will be fine. If they get any bigger there is a risk of mild learning difficulties as he gets older. I just wondered whether anyone else has experienced this and what the outcome was for your little one?
We are trying to stay positive and not worry too much, and look on the bright side of having 4d scans every few weeks to keep an eye on his development 💙💙💙 xxx
