Hi all, I'm 7w5d with my first! I feel I am a very cautious person and being very careful with this pregnancy but I feel like my DH is taking it too far. I think he just wants me to sit still and incubate! So far, our biggest fight has been about traveling. I've had plans to visit family who are 2 hours away by car about once a month. We had plans to drive to Chicago to visit family (6 hours drive at 8 weeks) and I wanted to go to a conference at 15 weeks that was 5 hours drive away.  I know he's just scared (or terrified actually) for the pregnancy but I keep telling him there is a human carrying this baby too! And I would never do anything that is risky (I don't even like gambling!). Anyone else in the same boat? Any advice from other moms?
