First trimester gerd

I'm 7 weeks and I've had gerd for all 7 weeks. I didn't have issues with acid before I started trying to get pregnant. My doc has me taking Zantac 150 twice a day and that mostly controls it but I am hoping the end is in sight... Anyone else had this? Does it go away?
