When can you start feeling the baby move? This is my first pregnancy.

Im 12 wks and 4 days and I started feeling the baby move at around 10 weeks. Was confused since it didn't feel like gas or any bowel movement. I feel the baby move every time I do my stretches or just eat something sweet like strawberries :)

I asked the same question to the nurse. She said I should feel flutters as early as 15 weeks. I want to feel Baby but I know it won't be on my terms and could be in the middle of the night. So getting used to that may take time for me.

My Sil felt swirls confirmed following week with ultra sound and baby moving plus same feeling that was at 10 weeks it's her first im still waiting for my bowel to move so I can decide between baby and gas

I have heard from friends that they normally feel movement around 16 weeks.

I will be 11 weeks tomorrow. I have had a bad cough for several weeks. I feel flutters after coughing spells, especially at night. It could be muscle spasms from coughing so hard but this is my third so I have felt flutters before. My first I felt around 12 weeks when I got a case of stomach flu.
