Am I being too pushy?

Question

My partner suggested that we start TTC back in December, I was so excited! I'm only 21 and have been on contraception since I was 14 so I was worried that I wouldn't fall pregnant because of that. I was a bit deflated that I didn't fall pregnant straight away and now I can't stop obsessing about it and I'm worried I'm scaring my SO away! Any advice? ?

I was on birth control for twelve years. I stopped taking it in December. Pregnant by March. It is possible!

I have the same worry, I'm 28 and had been on bc since I was 16. My husband and I have been TTC since December without any luck yet, but we don't let it discourage us!  Everything takes time, just be patient, think positively and keep trying :)

Dont feel that way. I am 23 years old and i have been on injection birthcontrol for over 5 years. 6 months ago i stopped taking birthcontrol with the intentions to try and i realized i wasnt getting my cycles. After 4 months i decided to go to the doctor and he told me it doesnt happen right away after getting off birthcontrol. The doctor confirmed that i had not ovulated in 5 month and thankfully i got my period this month and i this week are my most fertile days. I took an ovulation test and tested positive. I recomend you get a check up with your doctor and see if you are on track with ovulation.

I've been off the pill for 6 months now with regular periods but I'm fairly sure I'm not ovulating. Was on the pill for 10 years. Hope it changes!!! Going to call the OB for an appointment if I don't hear good news this month!

It's really normal for it to take up to a year before your cycle regulates after being on bc for such a long time. It's unlikely that anythings wrong. The waitings rubbish though! Have you been using ovulation tests? X
