I am 37, 10.5 weeks pregnant with our first baby. I have read a lot a out midwives, but I would like some opinions on whether I need one. I plan on having a "regular" birthday in the hospital, with hopefully my OB/GYN delivering. I have only had 2 appointments with her since I have been pregnant, but she has been my regular GYN for the last couple of years. I feel the care I have received so far has been great.

Are you under the car of a midwife and/or doula? Is it too much if I start care with those two, plus continue with my OB?
