VBAC!?

Question

Hi everyone! Tell my your VBAC stories! I want to hear them all in detail! Do you know someone whose had one? Have you had one? Do you also have questions?

I had a c-section with my son and I've done my research but I'd love to know what really goes on! Hopes, fears, complications. Give me all the details!

I had a scheduled c-section with my first son due to him measuring large (over 10lbs on ultra sound) ended up being 9lbs 13oz.  It was a horrible experience for me and something I regret but when the dr says you could put your life or your babies life in jeapordy if you have him naturally and you are a first time mom you listen to your dr.  12 months later (not recommended at all by Drs)I got pregnant with my second.  I knew from the very beginning I did not want another c-section so I hunted down a dr I knew would do them and made her take me as a patient!  From the very beginning we were both very supportive of each other and made it very clear what we both expected from

Of this birthing experience.  She was very supportive and told me it was all metal if I think I can do it I can.  41 weeks later I delivered a beautiful 8lb 6 oz baby boy vbac without any drugs and any complications.  It was the most amazing experience and so different than the c-section.  I know my dr only let me go 41 weeks past due and I did have to have the iv (was not hooked up to anything)in my arm just in case but other than that it was a great birth!  I recommend if possible everyone to have a vbac that can
