So I have been trying to convince a girl I was told I had better chances a after my period is this true?  Any suggestions???

You have a 50/50 chance either way. They say that if you have sex a few days before ovulation your chances of having a girl are higher and the closer to ovulation chances are higher for a boy, but really who knows for sure! Either way 50/50 chance!
