I am starting my first round of clomid 50mg tomorrow any suggestions?

I would really appreciate some help like what time of day to take the pill? When do we start to have sex and how often and also when do I start to do the ovulation tests???

Oh and if you have Pcos and that is the reason you are taking clomid, the specialist told me that ovulation tests are a waste of money, pcos can cause false positive.

I took my pills on days 3-7 and my dr told me to have sex every other day starting day 11-21. I would take the pill at night, I think it helps reduce the horrible hot flashes. Not everyone has them, but one thing I keep on hand when I'm using clomid is cooling body cloths.

Are you taking clomid days 5-9? If so than you want to have sex on cycle day 12,14,16.... and I start using ovulation tests on day 12 morning and night. I keep testing until around day 17 or 18 to make sure I ovulate, if you haven't ovulated by day 16 keep having sex every other day. As for when to take the pill, they suggest at night so you do not feel the side effects of it. But I took mine in morning and didn't have any side effects... but other women have.
