Ms flow is coming

So my flow will start sometime next week. My cycle is anywhere from 19-28 days. So I'm irregular. I was on metformin for my insulin resistant. But I'm allergic to it. So my dr told me from January till April mark down everything you do. Temperatures ovulation periods the works. So I have a sit down appt to go over what's next to do. What should I be asking. My husband and I talked about we aren't do fertility help. So. If God blessed us with one already then that's what he wants is to have. So please don't bash our decision
