When can they tell the sex?

I keep seeing people say around 12-18 weeks they found out what the sex of their baby is, but I thought it was more like 20 weeks, and I sure I was 20weeks with my daughter...When did you ladies find out? I'm only 7 so I have a ways to go regaurdless.

My obgyn did an anatony scan at 19+2 and she saw boy parts! She let me come in a week early (which i loved) but i liked waiting til then cuz it gave it a little mystery. Also, the earlier you have it the harder it is for them to say for sure what it is. Especially girls since they dont have nubs sticking out.

I was 12 weeks when I found out I was having my daughter.  It was through a blood test :)

If you want to do an elective ultrasound with a non medical company then you can find out around 15 weeks. Otherwise you just have to wait until your anatomy scan which the drs usually like to schedule sometime between 18-20 weeks.

Usually 15-17 wks. We found out very early at 10wks with genetic testing.

I waited for my anatomy scan to find out. I had mine a few days ago at 18 weeks. I have quite a few ultrasound pics of him showing off his stuff. He is without a doubt a boy.

I just found I'm having a girl last Friday at 14 weeks exactly. Doctor said she was 100% sure. That was by a private scan business.

With my son he was 3 weeks ahead based off his ultrasound size from what he actually was, so he was born 3 weeks early when they thought I was over due by a week, so he was born at 37/38 weeks, based off that we found out he was a boy about 17weeks. I have my app scheduled for this one now just after I'm 20 weeks cuz d rather be safe then sorry than be posting a bunch of posts asking if they really think it's a boy or a girl when the tech said such and such but they don know cuz it's so early when save yourself the hassle and wait the 2 extra weeks to be sure when the drs say is a more solid time to find out cuz that's when they can be seen easier with a lot less guessing.

We found out today 🎉🎉 15 weeks an 2 days it's a girl. We did a private 3d ultrasound. My doc wouldn't even try till 18 weeks. Gentials are fully formed by 15 weeks is what the ultraound tech told me.
