Travel to Cuba?

Question

The U.S. Is easing travel restrictions for Americans to go to Cuba. Would you be seriously interested (you'd pay money to go) in visiting Cuba?

Cuba was beautiful when I visited but I am Canadian.

I stayed in Cuba for 3 months through my universities study abroad program ten years ago. I'm an American and felt more safe in Cuba than I did in the U.S. I would wholeheartedly go back in a heartbeat. Anyone who thinks Cuba is not safe is not fully informed on the facts. I had the same mindset and I feel fortunate that I was able to see past my limited scope of view. My experiences in Cuba made me a better informed person and American. Of all my world travels, my time in Cuba was the most cherished. I learned so much. I keep in touch with my friends I made while I stayed there, American and Cuban. We're planning a reunion trip as well, some 10+ years later. So you bet I would go back!

The travel restrictions and economic embargos from the U.S. are so outdated and harmful. I'm glad we're taking steps to get rid of them.

As for travel, I'm more of a stereotypical tourist rather than an adventure-seeker, so I want to go, but I'll wait until they develop their tourism infrastructure more.

I've been twice. The beeches are brilliant and the culture in Havana is wonderful and vibrant. I would definitely reccomend

Most American Cubans bought into the philosophy of supporting the embargo. I don't care, I want to see my heritage.

I've traveled many places. I make it a point to go to 1,new country a year. If I was rich I'd just travel all the time. The world amazes me

We just returned from there. Went on the people to people program and it was great! Learned so much and saw their beautiful country. The economy is certainly hurting and it's obvious, but worth experiencing!
