When to say your period started .

My period started before it was suppose to , but when it started it just was real light and didn't fill up a pad for to days. Then the third day it got heavy . do I count the light days or the first day it got heavy ???

My dr says first sign of blood to no sign.. i go by that. .

First day you see red blood, not brown not pink but red. 😊

Mine is always like that and  I always counted the light days. But trying clomid this month the Dr said to start counting when the flow really starts going not spotting.  I'm not sure
