Help?
In May of last year, I had my wisdom teeth removed, all four of them. Last week or so, I discovered something hard and white sticking out of my gum in the bottom left socket where that wisdom tooth was removed. At first, I thought it might have been a chip that was stuck, but now I think otherwise. If it were food, wouldn't it be soggy from the constant saliva by now? It's still hard. I've tried removing it myself, but it won't budge, nor does it go further into the gum line. It's just there. I thought it may be a bone spicule or fragment. Should I see w dentist and have them remove it or wait it out? If they remove it, will it require any sort of medications? I'm 22 weeks pregnant also. I don't want anything that could potentially be harmful for my baby.
