Question regarding CD 1

I always start bleeding around 3pm , very lightly pink/red blood. This month that was march 31st . It's not much but enough that I need a panty liner on. Through out the night ( April 1st) it goes full force heavy flow and I've been counting the next day as AF but should I be counting from the day I bleed at 3pm lol
