Breech birth?

Have any of you delivered your baby while he/she was breech?
When my mom was 39 weeks pregnant, my sister went from head down position to breech position. There were a couple of other major problems with that pregnancy, but everything led to an emergency C-section.
I'm 33 weeks and slightly terrified of my baby turning. Any thoughts on a breech birth?

Technically, the doctor can try to turn the baby, but it doesn't always work if you are too far progressed in your labor. Also, it is extremely unpleasant. If you are delivering in a hospital, they will not allow you to deliver vaginaly if the baby won't turn because it is extremely dangerous.

Just giving you the info above so you know. But it's also important to remember that breech babies are pretty uncommon. And emergency c-sections definitely suck, but they aren't the end of the world.

Make sure you are doing pelvic tilts every day to encourage the baby to move into the correct position, and most of all relax. You and baby are going to be fine no matter which way their head is pointed.

I was delivered breech. My mom got a C section because I was turned around 3 times but decided I wasn't ready to leave yet and turned back around..

My friends daughter was breeched. She gave me the horror stories of the dr painfully reaching up there and turning her daughter back around. Don't stress about it, it'll work out whether they are breech or not.

In this day and age, your chart will be at that hospital knowing if your baby turned, there will be no surprises.

Your in your home stretch of your pregnancy so dont stress to much about it.......Its not as heard of for the baby to turn into a breech position so Try to Relax
