How accurate was an early gender prediction via ultrasound?

Question

So we had an ultrasound and I was measuring 13w5d and was told there was a high chance of it being a girl- believe he based it on nub theory... Said it was horizontal? I would have thought it was far too early and am not 100% sold given my I am craving more foods like I did when pregnant with my son, but am still sick/vomiting at 18weeks which I was very unwell with my daughter. My hubby and I also had a dream the same night we were having a boy...  Find out for sure May 6th but would love to hear other people's experiences  thanks! X

We had one at 14.5 wks and it looked like a boy. Yesterday confirmed its a boy at 19 wks 4 days!

They told me it was a boy at exactly 13 weeks and then they confirmed it yesterday at 19 weeks. I'd say depending on just how good the tech is and how much experience they have they very well could be right. We waited to buy anything until yesterday though just in case it changed:)

Had one at 12 weeks girl 15 weeks girl. 16 weeks girl. Having my 20 week scan next week hopefully it's still a girl😂😂😂

At my 12 week scan, it looked like a girl based on the "nub" theory. We just found out yesterday at 19 weeks that it is a girl.

Saw the baby in 3D at 13 wks and SWORE I saw a blatantly obvious pen is. The baby was spread eagle and everything. But it turned out to be a girl.

I would say it's close to 50/50 at that point. Waiting for that magical 20w mark is hard! Particularly when so many moms these days have early blood tests and such. When I had my son, none of these boards talked about knowing gender until at least 17w
