What's everyone's progress so far?

Question

Had my 38 weeks appointment today. I'm 2cm 90% effaced and baby is way low station 2. My ob was super surprised at how low he is already.

At my appt yesterday, 38&3 4/23, I was 1 cm and 60-70% effaced. Dr. said my cervix is softening and baby is head down, but not engaged. Pretty sure I have started losing my mucus plug this morning and my bowel movements are pretty loose. Last night, I woke up to pee, and my cervix was super crampy, think baby is trying to engage but not sure if they'll be able to. I have a very small pelvic opening and that was part of why I had to push for two hours with my first.

They don't check u in the UK unless u r in labour so don't know , 38 weeks and 2 days

At 35 weeks I was 1 cm dilated! Not sure about effacement. Now at almost 37 weeks I had sharp stabbing pains in my vagina every so often. It feels like her head is pushing on my cervix. Hopefully she will come on her own before I'm induced at 39 weeks!

Had my 38 week appt Wednesday and was 2 cm and 80-90% effaced. Cervix is super soft and baby is in position. Hoping he's a bit early!

I kind of wish I knew at this point - our midwife doesn't believe in doing cervical check until you get to the hospital in labor! 39 weeks tomorrow and her head is fully engaged in my pelvis according to the last sonogram.
