Need some help... Please!!!!

I had sex last month and I was ovulating. And lately my period has been coming every other month. And I had it last month so its skipping this month. But can I still be pregnant? I have symptoms and its not showing up on test (all negatives ) I don't want to go to the doctors and look a fool. But if I'm pregnant I'm 6 weeks. And what's also strange is my boy friends mom was like "is she pregnant?" And my SO was like "no..why?" And she was like "cause that's how I looked when I was pregnant with your sister" so I'm like wtf? Idk HELP PLEASE
