Getting pregnant while sick?!

Question

I have had flu like symptoms for the past 4 days. I have a friend who had said that it is easier to get pregnant while sick. Is there any truth to that at all?! She says the body is fighting off the sickness and not as concerned about "fighting" the sperm. We've had sex twice since I've been sick.

I don't know if that would make sense, because your body doesn't think of like sperm as germs or anything, so it doesn't actively try to get rid of sperm. They might've mean their birth control failed while they were sick while they were taking antibiotics? I dunno. If i'm wrong someone tell me because this is interesting!!
Also, how can you have sex with the flu??? I didn't want to MOVE, I was so sore, let alone have sex. 😳
