I am almost 8 weeks and go for our first appointment in 5 days. However I was in the hospital last week for severe morning sickness and am now on two prescriptions. While in the hospital they did an ultrasound and could see the heartbeat and said everything looks great. We were planning on waiting to tell our families when we all got together on Mothers Day. However, my husband's grandparents are visiting from Illinois this weekend for a short trip unexpectedly. They will not be here for Mothers Day when we were planning to announce it and this baby will be their first great grandchild. Both of our immediate families are getting together today for a cook out to visit with my husband's grandparents. My husband and I are thinking we should tell everyone today while they are all together before they leave for Illinois but are nervous to do so before our first official doctors appointment. It has also been a very hard secret to keep because I have been so sick to the point of hospitalization. What do you think?
