Unusual period

My menstrual usual lasts about 5 days . I usually have a normal flow and symptom that come with it. When I was on the pill it was still somewhat normal. I been of the pill for about a month in a half and my period this week only lasted 3 days. I'm kinda worried that my period isn't normal and need to know why is it acting this way. Can someone help please?
