Anatomy scans

Quite a few seem to be getting bad news or scares at their ultrasound scans. Try to remember a lot of times the issues picked up by the US technology resolves on their own and baby is born perfectly healthy. I too got a scare early on from an ultrasound and was referred to a specialist. Other than a cyst on baby's cranium that should go away by 32 weeks, baby is perfectly healthy. And even though I'm 35, I have no high risk health issues. I'm not saying issues that are picked up aren't serious, but do remember with today's advances in technology, a lot can be done if baby does have heart defects or other issues that require surgery. But sometimes it's in God's plan too.
