Okay so I was talking about how when I have the baby and he gets older I want him to watch more educational shows (little einsteins, magic school bus, etc) well my MIL decides to say "yeah and make sure he doesn't talk country so he can be educated and sound it as well." Needless to say it got off with me pretty bad. I was raised in a small town and country style family and my accent reflects that. I have that southern accent. And the fact she said that offends me bc I feel like she is saying me and my family isn't educated bc of this. Am I overreacting or what?
