My SO is a police officer and yes their life matters! Why should she get into any trouble for telling the world her life matters?  They all have families to come home to after every shift!!

Shes not thr only cop ive seen do this. Yes it is. They matter and they believe keeping us safe matters.  Sure there may be a few crooked cops.. but most definetely not as many as people make it out to be.

I don't think the answer to this is black and white (...no intentional pun there) 
Yes. Her life matters. All lives matter. 
However the way this comes off it seems to be invalidating the "black lives matter" protest. 
It's not okay for her to invalidate their concerns. I don't believe that was a good call on her part. I believe that was bad judgement. 
I don't know that this was a good call, but I don't think she meant it maliciously. I don't think she was intentionally marginalizing people of color. 
All that being said my opinion on how appropriate it is isn't really relevant. I don't have a major issue with it, but I don't fear for my safety and the safety of my family because of racism.

This is ridiculous!!!! It's like a bunch of straight people starting a parade, because they feel left out of the pride parade. Obviously her life matters, she's white, and American. The only negative in her corner is the fact that she's a woman, in a male dominated work environment.
