Period like cramping?!

33 weeks and 2 days and for the past week and a half I've been experiencing period like cramping. Sometimes it's intense and other times it's dull but it's off and on all day and night. Has anyone else been experiencing this or know what it's about? This is my first baby so I am clueless on everything that goes on.

Braxton Hicks! There are apps for tracking your contractions - download one and keep track of it! Show it to your OB. Rule of a thumb - real labor will begin with cramps and back pains from mild to moderate throughout a day! If it continues - notify your OB ASAP!

Yes, I agree it is braxton hicks. It seems like they are becoming more tense with each passing week. I noticed it happens if I am not drink enough water and that has played a factor in how much tightening and cramping I will experience on and off throughout the day. I am 33w2d

They are most likely Braxton hicks contractions. Time them as long as they don't come consistently and they don't become more intense it's just your body getting ready for labor in the upcoming weeks.

Yup sounds like Braxton hicks (false labor).  But if they are consistent and get more intense then you're in labor. I've been getting them too. I'm 33 weeks with my 3rd child.

It's probably your body getting ready like she said. I get stabbing pains in my wooha all the time. Try pelvic rocks to help
