Okay to bath baby every night?

So my little girl is 11 days old and loves her baths and it really helps her sleep at night for longer. Is it okay to bath every night? I've given her a bath every second night and those nights she sleeps so well compared to the other nights.

It's recommended that you don't. But if you choose to just make sure you're moisturizing the baby well. ☺️ I had an infant care class yesterday and they recommended every other day.

Yes. I bathe my son every night and have since he was about two weeks old. He's now almost 9 weeks. I do it as a part of his nighttime routine and it works well, he gets fussy at bath time now, he loves it & it helps him sleep better. I just lather him up with lotion after when I give him his baby massage. His skin isn't dry at all.

My son is 2 weeks old and has only gotten 3 baths since his umbilical chord fell off at 5days. You don't want to bath them too much an cause dry and peeling skin. They only need to be bath med maybe 2 or 3 times a week right now. I understand it helps her sleep but she doesn't need it that often

Just rinse baby off with wash cloth or wipes, no soap! My doctor told me bathing them to much will cause dry skin!

I think a lot of people do bathe baby every night but don't use soap everyday just once or twice a week. If she loves it I don't see why not. We don't do it everyday cause our baby hates it.

I was told by the NICU nurses not too. It dries out their skin.
