Birth control pill

I am considering going back on the pill. I haven't taken birth control in about 5 years. After we got married and decided to try for a baby it took a while to get pregnant and I firmly believe it was because I was on the pill for so long. Well finaly we got pregnant and in the years have had 4 losses. I know I am not ready to try for a baby again and the last 2 years we've used condoms but sometimes in the heat it's annoying. What other options would anyone suggest? The hormones in the pill drove me crazy for the longest time. That why i haven't gone back in it. I need an easy option that I can stop at anytime if we want to try again.
