Wisdoms?

I was told back in December by my dentist that I need to get all my wisdoms pulled out because of the way they are growing. I still haven't made my appointment yet which I plan on scheduling for next month. A few days ago, the left side of my jaw has been very sore. Could this be because of my wisdoms? It really hurts when I yawn or open my mouth wide.

It definitely could be...and if you decide to get them pulled, it's much less painful than people say. I had to get all of mine out at once, and I was super stressed, but even getting the IV in...my dentist did that to put me to sleep...didn't hurt, and I'm a total wimp about pain and cry if I have to get a shot. Only ended up taking the Vicodin they prescribed for the first day, too, then I didn't need it anymore.

Yes, it is probably from your wisdom teeth. They can cause jaw problems and pressure/pain on other teeth. I'm an oral surgery dental assistant.
