Too soon to announce??

I'm 7w4d.... My family knows, as does some of my husbands family. Already had 3 sonograms and heard a heartbeat twice. I want to shout the news from the rooftop, but I'm worried about everyone else reacting when they hear I'm this early. Should I care?

Personally I wouldn't announce til the second trimester. I've been through 3 miscarriages and its hard to not announce but this time I am waiting (currently 6w+3d) because the heartbreak I went through having to tell people there wasn't a baby anymore was unbearable. This is just my personal preference because of what I have been through.

Do what you want though and screw anyone who says it's too early. Its your life not theirs 😀

If this comes off sarcastic or mean in anyway I don't mean it that way at all. It is hard to send expressions through the Internet lol

I'm announcing after our 8 week ultrasound. I just feel that if I was to lose this pregnancy I would want the support of my family and friends. But do what you feel is right for you and you significant other. Good luck.

I told my family that day and boss today (7 weeks - serious fatigue) ... Coworkers will find out next week and Facebook... Well, Facebook will find out when baby is born or one of my big mouth friends blabs after I start showing :/

I'm announcing at 8 weeks!! Which is our one year wedding anniversary and I think that every baby is worth celebrating and if something was to ever happen I know those sane people would help me through it 😊❤️

I think I may announce soon. Honestly, my miscarriages at 6 and 8 or 9 weeks were easier to handle emotionally even though I had to tell everyone I had miscarried than my miscarriage at 12 weeks that my husband and I suffered through alone. I will be 7 weeks on Thursday... I know I need to tell my mom and dad and my boss before I post on Facebook. I have no desire to actually call someone up and tell them personally. But that's because I'm an exhausted introvert...

Last time I announce at 12 weeks and lost the baby at 14w4d. So this time I'm announcing early to 'show' to the baby that it needs to stick around. My first appt is Wednesday and once I see that little flicker I'll be telling everyone even though I'll only be 7w3d.

If you are comfortable with sharing your news, that's all that matters. As someone who has shared early and then miscarried, it can be extremely difficult to have to go back and tell everyone the bad news. But at the same time we had a lot of love and support. This time we decided to only share with parents and siblings so that we can have their prayers an support should something go wrong again. We will be waiting until second trimester to publicly announce in FB.

I'm 8 weeks 3 days and we won't announce on Facebook until 12 weeks. I just feel better at that point even though I'm itching to announce! We told my parents and his parents as soon as we found out.

We're planning on announcing right after the first ultrasound (8 weeks), at a bbq for my husband and my bday. We're only inviting close friends/family, who are the people in our support group. We'll plan on after the first trimester to shout it from the rooftops, aka Facebook ;)
