How soon did you announce?

I just found out I'm pregnant. I want to tell my mom and wait to tell everyone else but my husband wants to tell our whole family. Which is funny because I thought it would be totally opposite. He's quiet and I'm not.

How soon did you tell? Can family keep it a secret? I don't get how this works lol

I'm waiting a few more weeks to tell immediate family . I'm only 4 weeks 3 days, and last time I had a mc at 6 weeks... I'm going to make it public on the 4th of July when I'm out of the 1st trimester

We were going to wait until we were further along.  But we got excited and slowly started telling everyone.  This past Saturday we finally told all our friend and family.  It's to exciting to keep a secret (even with this being baby #4)

Sent my mom some flowers for mother's day and gave her the news!!! They will get there on Friday! I'm 5 weeks and 1 day today! Everyone else can wait!!!

I told my family and close friends. As they know we've been trying for 2 years - and if something did happen (fingers crossed it doesn't) they are the people I would want to lean on 😊

I had to tell two of my friends because I need to be able to talk to someone other than my husband about this. We've decided to not tell anyone else until we are through our first trimester. We are living with my mom while our house is being built so we'll see if i can keep it a secret from her.

Funny story! I was supposed to go to India to do research for a month, but had to cancel my trip because of my pregnancy. Everyone is asking WHY I canceled. So, I'm just being honest/transparent: "I took a pregnancy test and it was positive, still waiting to hear more - hoping for the best!"

We are telling our immediate family on Mother's Day (4 weeks 4 days) and everyone else around 11 or 12 weeks which is my birthday!
