Sometimes when I touch my stomach I feel something as hard as a rock

I feel hard spots all the time that switch spots, i believe and everyone I've shown it to says its the baby. They push up to the surface like it's trying to escape..

The uterus, I believe, but I'm no doctor! Also, when you have Braxton Hicks contractions your uterus gets very hard for a minute and then relaxes again. I had them a lot at around 24 weeks on with my first, but this time around started feeling them at 15 weeks. My doctor said it's normal this early (they happen a lot more if you've done activity or are dehydrated/slightly dehydrated). I can probably just feel them sooner because I know what they feel like this time. Again I'm not a doctor but I don't think you can really feel the baby that much from the outside at this point. There is a lot of padding in between even if you are a small person, they wouldn't feel rock hard. When you are a few months farther along, then you can start identifying body parts (or try) sometimes through your belly, but more than likely it's your uterus right now.

Maybe your uterus. Baby is too small for you to feel him/her "hard as a rock" in your stomach.
