My maiden name is Tripp and my hubs and I were thinking about using it for the baby's first name if we have a boy. Our last name is two syllables.

I voted no only because I heard it on criminal minds today. Little 13 year old boy knocked up little girl. He ends up getting killed by the helps son, who is his rich politician father's astranged son.

It's a cool name, but I always link names to people or scenarios they remind me of. So for me Tripp would be a no.

I like that it's your maiden name. I dislike that it makes me think of Sarah Palin. Lol. It's the same reason I can't name future daughters "Bristol" as much as I like that name.
