For all you amazing SAH WORKING Moms...what do you do to bring in extra money? I just got laid off and we are hurting for money. At least $400 a month. Are there any legitimate jobs that can be done online? Not selling stuff? My husband and I are both super stressed! 😓

Look into being a mystery shopper locally?

It's pretty big ask- if there were lots of jobs around like that, we'd all have them!

There are a lot of opportunities to work from "home" if you're willing to put in the work!  If you have a hobby, try turning it into something that can make some money (crafts, furniture restoration, gardening, etc).  There are also many companies out there with opportunities for us, but they tend to be sales related.  Mary Kay, Avon, Thirty-One, etc are always looking for independent consultants and can be an amazing opportunity if you work your business right.

Do you have any hobbies? My SIL opened an etsy shop selling things she's sewn, and I've sold a few crocheted items and painted items/canvases in her shop. It's not a lot of money, but it's something. I make more money selling my things in a handmade craft store in my town (a very artsy small town). Good luck mama!

I'm in the same boat, I got laid off back in January and I'm not used to being home all the time. I've been working since I was 15 and I am not 26. I'm going crazy in my house especially since my husband is deployed. I can't wait to have this baby so he can keep me somewhat occupied until I can get a job. I have been also looking for things to do or jobs I can do from home but haven't had much luck. Keep me posted if you find something. Good luck

Have you tried getting unemployment?

I lost my job back in January (9 weeks pregnant!) was the hardest thing for me as I had never been out of work before. I did a massive clear out to scrape some money together, I also use my passion for baking to earn some that way.
