I know my dentist required a clearance from my OB to remove one of my wisdom teeth. Most dentists will not perform an extraction unless you are in your second trimester as it is safer. If you do have it pulled you need to make sure they know you are pregnant because it affects the numbing they give you as well as the pain medication afterwards.

Usually best in 2nd tri but a rotten tooth won't help either in first so just depend

I think most dentists require you to be 13ish (give or take a week or two) weeks pregnant before doing any dental work.

If the Drs know your pregnant they may wait till your 2nd trimester or till after delivery. With me it was a hard recovery. I can't imagine being pregnant and having to recover from surgery. For me I had all 4 out at once, I puked in the office before they were removed and they said that was normal cuz of how nervous and anxious I was, and afterwards I had a lot of pain, I was taking t3 with codeine I think and antibiotics to prevent another infection because I had 3 before the surgery, but I also had my son who was almost 5 months by the time they were removed. I'd personally discuss your options with your Dr and what they feel comfortable with doing.
