Has anyone read the book Muscle and a Shovel?

My grandfather sent me it when he found out I started to study the bible and to attend my local church of Christ. My husband was a Mennonite and is changing his way since he has found that in the church or Christ and reading the bible that you learn from the old testament and live by the new. He and his family always believed that you live by the old testament. So anyways my husband and I both have read this book and found it to be very accurate and inspiring and I just wanted to see how many others have read it. Feel free to comment your thoughts on the book.
