When to register?

If my shower is going to be end of August or beginning of September when should we go do a registry?

I started mine about 15-16 weeks so that I could feel like I was doing something productive. I also started shopping way early too, so it was almost a list for myself as well. My MIL requested to know about our registry pretty early and she's been buying things off of it every few weeks since I gave her the info. It also gave me time to research things, change my mind, and I had my momma go over it to make sure I hadn't over-done or not registered enough. Basically what I'm saying is register early lol! So many pros, not really any cons! 😊

I started mine pretty early so I had time to research lots of products and make changes. Often I found products not offered in store that I wanted to put on my registry. Like pp said, you can keep it private until you are ready to publish closer to your shower date.
