Can I paint?

Question

I am almost 29 weeks pregnant and my fiancé and I are wanting to paint the nursery today. Of course we will open the window and run a fan. Is it okay for me to help him? I really want to be involved and none of our family members are interested in helping us paint.

My doctor said it's totally fine as long as it's as ventilated as possible. She said I didn't have to wear gloves or a mask or anything. Just listen to your body and step out if you start feeling sick.

I painted with all three pregnancies. Many paints these days have low to no VOCs so no fumes to worry about

My hubby was more paranoid than I was and didn't want me to paint. I did most of the taping though beforehand to help as much as I can and to let him chill out since I know painting is a pain in the butt sometimes. Maybe that can be your compromise?
