Do you wash yourself with water after you use the bathroom?

I have always wanted to ask this question, but it usually doesn't come up in normal conversation lol. So in my religion being clean is very important. When we are finished using the bathroom we wash "down there" very thoroughly with water. I just can't imagine going #2 and just wiping with tissue paper, I feel like it would smear and you could never get it all off.

I have seen this practice in a few 3rd world countries. Most places like this won't even have toilet paper, just a bucket of water - which is exactly why I carry my own wipes when I travel. I don't understand how you could get yourself completely clean (especially after after a #2) with just water. Plus, since I wouldn't drink that water, no way would I want it put it down there!
Not judging though. Do what makes you comfortable & feel clean.

Well I wipe with toilet paper once or twice and then use a flushable baby wipe.. I don't use water.

I do with soap and water after #2 when I'm home. At work, sometimes I'll use a wipe. In college, I had a Dr tell me that most her patients still had leftover crap in their asses.
